Birth Certificates

The birth certificates came. I expected them becuase we requested them, but it is bittersweet. It breaks my heart. These are the only things I have in memory of my children. On the other hand, it is another thing that proves they lived. I love seeing their names written on paper.

  1. Kayla, I remember getting those in the mail also. Two pieces of paper for two beautiful little boys gone too soon. I know you have been having a rough week and I wish I could take your pain away, but as you know you have to go through it yourself. It is the price we pay for a love so intense for our children. Give me a call or shoot me an email. Be gentle with yourself-this is nothing you have done, nor could have changed. It just is. Now the challenge is trying to figure out how to live with just the memories instead of with Gavin and Parker. Slowly and subtly you will find the signs you need from them.
